“Structural Robustness and Resilient Infrastructure against Extreme Hazards” | Naples, 10-13

The Summer School aims at disseminating knowledge on structural robustness against extreme hazards to PhD students, researchers, and professionals. The issue is of paramount importance to assess and reduce collapse risk of civil infrastructure, particularly in case of critical and strategic structures that need to be effectively designed or strengthened against abnormal loads. Lectures will deal with main approaches for #design, #assessment and #strengthening of structures, including several theoretical and experimental applications to #buildings and #bridges. A session with presentation by thematic lecturers and debate on specific topics will also be held during the final day.
